What could you usually expect when you do work experience at a company?
You would get to know the company, do some typical work with guidance and under supervision. You would probably meet nice colleagues who could explain things to you. You will use some technical terms, of course. Also, if you’re smart, you’ll observe as much as possible. A good internship company will also let you try out some things on your own.
All this you will be able to test here compactly in our modules. The goal is for you to be able to answer these questions for yourself at the end:
- What does one do in the presented profession?
- Which techniques of the profession could I try out and how do I find them?
- What technical terms or new things did I learn?
- Would this be an interesting profession and an apprenticeship I would want to consider for myself?
- How can I apply for an internship or apprenticeship with the company?
- Am I technically gifted and which craft suits me?
- If I’m not that skilled with my hands, what are my strength?
Here is an overview of the structure and the materials needed. Please read these documents first. Then get the materials. Afterwards, it is best to proceed in the order given by the numbering of the tasks.
Good luck!
