Getting started
In a real internship, you would get to know a company, do some typical work under guidance and supervision. You would probably meet nice colleagues who could explain things to you. You will, of course, use some catering terminology. And if you are smart, you will observe as much as possible. A good internship company will also let you try some things out for yourself. You can try all of this out here in our modules.
In this module, you will visit the Vulkanlandhotel Legenstein in Bad Gleichenberg, Styria, with us. Beatrice, who is completing an apprenticeship as a cook, shows us around her business. We will not only learn about apprenticeships as chefs in the traditional sense, but also about other opportunities in the catering and hotel industry.
