Getting started

In a real internship you would get to know a company, do some typical work with guidance and under supervision. You would probably meet nice colleagues who could explain things to you. You will use some technical terms, of course. Also, if you’re smart, you’ll observe as much as possible. A good internship company will also let you try out some things on your own. All this you will be able to test here in our modules.

In this module, you will virtually meet the managers of the Le Negresco hotel, located in the city of Nice on the French Riviera (France).

Le Negresco, a French, independent hotel, overlooks the Promenade des Anglais; one of the most beautiful views of the Bay of Angels. Le Negresco is a 5-star hotel, committed to heritage protection, innovative, and a pioneer in eco-responsibility. The hotel owes its strong identity to Jeanne Augier, owner of the hotel from 1957 to 2019. Madame decorated Le Negresco with over 6,000 works of art representing five centuries, from classical art to contemporary art. This collection shines both in the common areas and in the hotel rooms. Each of the 102 rooms and 26 suites is personalized with furniture inspired by the remarkable centuries of French art.
